I will put our district first
Florida’s 6th District deserves a representative who actually works for us. For too long, our communities from Belleview to Daytona Beach have been ignored in Washington. Rising costs, crumbling infrastructure, and unchecked development are putting families and neighborhoods at risk. Our beaches, wildlife, scenic roadways, farmlands, and historic downtowns are being erased while corporate greed fills empty storefronts and abandoned buildings.
I am a native Floridian who has spent his entire life in and around this part of Florida. I know this district. I love this district. It’s time we have a representative who shows up every day to fight for our people, our communities, and our future.
I’m running to put Florida’s 6th District first. To protect our communities, strengthen our economy, defend our environment, and restore trust in government. This is the district I know and love. I will be the representative who shows up every day for the people of Florida’s 6th District.
I will fight to put our District first by focusing on three clear priorities:
1. Fix the Cost of Living
Families are struggling to afford housing, healthcare, insurance, and groceries. We need systemic change:
- Expand affordable housing and protect renters, mobile home residents, and condo owners
- Guarantee healthcare for all, with lower drug costs and telehealth access
- Reform taxes so working people pay their fair share while the wealthy contribute more
- Fight corporate greed to reduce costs and strengthen our local economy
2. Build Resilient Infrastructure
Our district faces real infrastructure challenges that affect every community:
- Secure federal funding for stormwater systems, flood mitigation, and resilient roads and bridges
- Protect marshlands, wetlands, and natural buffers that reduce flooding and safeguard our environment
- Promote smart growth that strengthens existing towns, not unchecked sprawl
- Keep zoning decisions in local hands so communities control their future
3. Restore Accountability in Government
- Ban members of Congress from trading stocks and exploiting insider advantages
- Limit corporate influence in elections by overturning Citizens United
- Enforce transparency and ethics so officials serve people, not corporate boards
