Here's how I will make a difference
Washington is broken because too many politicians in Congress answer to money, not the people they represent. My campaign for Florida District 6 is about restoring accountability, fairness, and common sense. This starts with getting big money out of politics so we can actually tackle the issues that matter: cost of living, healthcare, and housing as we prepare for the upcoming election for the US House of Representatives.
1. End Corruption & Get Big Money Out of Politics
• Overturn Citizens United so billionaires and corporations can’t buy our elections in Florida District 6 and beyond.
• Require full transparency for campaign contributions and PAC spending in every election.
• Ban members of Congress from trading stocks or accepting lobbyist money.
• Until we get money out of politics, our elected officials in the US House of Representatives will be making decisions based on donors, not voters.
2. Strengthen Local Economies & Small Business
• We must shift priorities away from corporate subsidies to focus on small businesses that truly drive our communities, especially in Florida District 6.
• It's essential to simplify SBA access for businesses with under 100 employees and cut red tape for entrepreneurs so they can thrive.
• We should reward companies that keep jobs local and reinvest in their communities.
• Ultimately, we have to genuinely start investing in Main Street, as it represents the heart of our communities and deserves support from the US House of Representatives.
3. Make Life Affordable — Housing, Healthcare & Fiscal Responsibility
• In Florida District 6, we are being squeezed by rising costs on everything from groceries to rent. While Congress talks, nothing changes because corporate money blocks reform.
• I’ll fight for policies that make housing attainable again and implement oversight on the unchecked overdevelopment that strains our roads, schools, and environment.
• Regarding healthcare: we spend more than any other nation, yet people still go broke getting basic care. It’s time for Congress to hold insurers and drug companies accountable, cut out waste, and make coverage affordable for everyone.
• Fiscal responsibility means using taxpayer dollars wisely — investing in people, not padding corporate profits.
4. Make Government Work for the People Again
• Congress should answer to voters rather than to donors or party bosses.
• There must be transparency in every bill and budget put forth in the US House of Representatives.
• The focus should be on bipartisan, practical solutions that improve life for everyone in our communities.
• Accountability in government is not a partisan issue; it affects all citizens.
